Cross-disciplinary group of students, faculty to convene during two-day conference

Interested in climate change and floods? How about bilingual education or preserving Cajun language? Maybe first-degree murder exonerations excite you. Undergraduate researchers will explore all of these topics during the annual Students to Scholars Symposium.

Movies, food, games, study sessions and quiet featured in special schedule

It’s Wellness Day on campus on Wednesday and Thursday, and the halls, and hills, will teem with activities to help students recharge.

Colby Award winner Mark Treanor and Military Writers’ Symposium speaker Sam Alexander share thoughts on military service

Mark Treanor and Sam Alexander knew they wanted to serve in the armed forces as children. Treanor, this year’s Colby Award winner, grew up in Rutland, Vermont, where his mother reminded him that the only piano tune he ever learned was the Marine Hymn; a box of belongings included a favorite picture book of a U.S. Marine Corps officer.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University cadets, alumni and friends will continue their tradition of marching 50 miles to raise money for the Veterans’ Place Inc., a Northfield transition home and support center for homeless veterans.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University’s School of Architecture + Art continues this year’s lecture series with “Jeezum Crow! The Architecture of Birdseye,” a presentation by Brian Mac, principal architect at Birdseye, who will discuss the advancement of creative processes at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 in the Chaplin Hall Gallery.
