School of Architecture + Art to host Katherine Hogan lecture
An award-winning architect to visit campus and share expertise.
Norwich University’s School of Architecture + Art is pleased to announce "WORKING BACKWARDS," a lecture by Katherine Hogan, fellow of the American Institutes of Architecture and principal architect at Katherine Hogan Architects in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The lecture will take place Friday, Oct. 24, from 1-2 p.m. in the gallery of Chaplin Hall. The event is free and open to the public. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available via Microsoft Teams here.
Katherine Hogan Architects, co-founded with Vincent Petrarca, is recognized for public projects that celebrate place, focus on sustainability, and contribute to the well-being communities. The firm’s diverse, creative, and inventive body of work has received numerous awards across residential, commercial, and rehabilitation design.
In 2013, Katherin Hogan was named Residential Architecture Magazine’s “Rising Star.” She later received the Kamphoefner Prize from the American Institute of Architecture, North Carolina chapter in 2017. The firm’s recent honors include the Architectural League of New York’s Emerging Voices Award in 2023 and the Architect’s Newspaper’s Best of Practice Award in both 2022 and 2024.
