Because of the unfolding global coronavirus pandemic and Vermont Gov. Phil Scott’s “Stay Home/Stay Safe” executive order, lasting through May 15, Norwich University decided to move in-person Commencement from the previously hoped for May 30 to Sept. 12. This new date will allow us to celebrate the Class of 2020 meaningfully, when travel and large group events again become safe, and will allow for all of the pomp, circumstance and festivities that have become Norwich traditions.

Even with Commencement moved, degrees will be conferred May 2, as planned, so students can commission or confirm with employers they have completed all degree requirements and are Norwich University graduates. Seniors will receive their diplomas by mail from the university.

ITS offers technology support from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday by telephone (802) 485-2456 and by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

This weekend, Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, ITS will be available from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. ITS will be assessing its weekend service schedule and will provide an update next week. Also, ITS offers all students timely assistance with the virtual desktop they normally use on Norwich’s campus. If you have questions, please call so that we can assist you.
