NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University celebrated commencement and commissioning with April 30 ceremonies in Shapiro Field House in which 531 students graduated from 32 undergraduate programs and one master’s program and 134 graduates commissioned into the U.S. armed services.

Corps of Cadets names leaders for 2022-23; regimental commanders old and new reflect

Milestones pack any spring semester’s final weeks, forming a celebratory trail to Commencement and Commissioning’s grand finale. The hurdle of exams and capstone presentations gives way to social gatherings, awards ceremonies and the Corps of Cadets’ annual changing of command.

Norwich University will celebrate commencement and commissioning with ceremonies Saturday, April 30, in Shapiro Field House.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University will celebrate commencement and commissioning with ceremonies Saturday, April 30, in Shapiro Field House, in which 531 students will graduate from 32 undergraduate programs and one master’s program and 134 graduates will commission into the U.S. armed services.

Since 2005, about 78 students have benefited from George and Carol Olmsted Foundation grants and have traveled to Tanzania, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Croatia, Senegal, El Salvador, Chile, Turkey, Slovenia, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Israel and the Balkans, above. NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University announced a $20,000 grant from the George and Carol Olmsted Foundation to support the John and Mary Frances Patton Peace and War Center’s 2022 Overseas Cultural Immersion Trip.

Tri-Service Awards bestows 94 honors in annual recognition of academic, athletic and ROTC excellence

I f service before self is one bedrock tenet of Norwich University’s philosophy, driving toward excellence is another. At last week’s Tri-Service Awards, President Mark Anarumo hailed students’ hard work, service and academic achievement and encouraged students to keep striving and leading.
