Health emergencies have no clock, and sometimes happen well into night’s darkness, Chelsea Nieves learned. A 7 p.m.-to-7 a.m. rotation at Central Vermont Medical Center’s emergency department, part of her Norwich University nursing program, turned her schedule, academic, circadian and otherwise, briefly upside down.
