Norwich University will celebrate the accomplishment of the Class of 2022 on Saturday, April 30 with a Commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. and a ROTC Joint Commissioning at 2:30 p.m. in Shapiro Field House. Both ceremonies will be livestreamed. A complete schedule of events is here. We look forward to welcoming you to campus this spring!
Greetings! We hope you had a restful spring break!
Classes will resume Monday, March 14th, and we wanted to provide you with important updates ahead of your return to Northfield.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Warning for central, northeastern, northwestern, and southern Vermont, starting at 10 p.m. EST Friday until 1 a.m. EST Sunday.
The forecast calls for heavy, wet snow accumulation (estimated from 8 to 13 inches), with high winds on Saturday afternoon and evening. The weather service warns that travel could be difficult because of blowing snow and lower visibility on the roads and is advising travelers to use caution.
We are asking that residential students plan travel carefully for a safe return to campus and allot for the potential of slower travel times. The residence halls and barracks will reopen at noon Saturday, although students and families may wish to travel on Sunday rather than Saturday if possible.
Campus Dining Services reopening schedule:

Saturday, March 12, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Because of the declining numbers of COVID-19 cases on campus and changes to our testing policies, we are discontinuing the COVID-19 dashboard, which tracked positive cases of students and employees.
Our rapid testing station located in Doyle Hall will reopen on March 14th, and will be operational through March 18th from noon p.m. to 3 p.m. Students are welcome to come to the testing site voluntarily this week.
Students who are symptomatic must contact Health Services at (802) 485-2552.
Students who test positive will be assigned to quarantine for recovery management. Health Services will provide guidance to students who test positive.
Effective immediately, meal pickup for positive students in recovery management will shift from Partridge’s Pub to the main dining hall entrance: the pickup location has been labeled “COVID-19 Meal Pickup Location”.
