Online Leadership Seminar Sends Students to Germany
As part of the online Master of Science in Leadership and Master of Arts in Strategic Studies programs, Norwich University has launched the Global Strategic Leadership seminar. This course provides students with the opportunity to visit Hamburg, Germany, during the final two weeks of their course. There, they will engage in cross-cultural teaming at the international level.

This course introduces students to the transnational security risks posed by disinformation and explores the strategic value of wargaming in addressing these challenges. Through collaboration with a German-American cohort, students will engage in a dynamic, multinational learning environment that emphasizes strategic leadership, ethical decision-making, and systems thinking.
Participants will analyze complex security issues, propose countermeasures, and work in cross-cultural teams to develop practical solutions. They will also gain experience in creating and delivering executive-level briefings that incorporate data visualization and strategic communication. The course culminates in a security-focused simulation, allowing students to integrate leadership, communication, and analytical skills in a realistic decision-making environment.
