The Norwich University Military Writers’ Symposium convenes authors and experts in the fields of military history, intelligence, and current affairs to offer important perspectives on pressing global concerns. This year, we invite you to join Norwich University faculty, staff, and students to celebrate exceptional military writing and contemplate today’s most pressing issues facing global special operations forces. This renowned two-day event will feature former operators and some of the world’s leading military writers.

For five years, from 2014-2019 Dmitri Beliakov covered events in the east of Ukraine. He explored the fanaticism that is driving the largest war in Europe in a generation; the transformative effects of the conflict and the tragedy of the most vulnerable.
