Decode the Digital World
Train your mind to collect, analyze, and act on the world’s most valuable resource—data.
Who is OSINT for?
We use OSINT in our daily lives. The Internet makes it easy to search for information that anyone can find.
You might use open-source information in your personal life to learn more about a particular business before purchasing from them.
The government, law enforcement, military, private investigators, law firms, cyber threat intelligence, information security, pen testers, social engineers, investigative journalists, and many others rely on OSINT to perform their jobs.
Why is OSINT Important?
For these professionals, OSINT is beneficial because it helps them to gather intelligence without needing to gain access to restricted sources of information. This can be costly and take a lot of time to get.
Many other organizations and individuals use OSINT because it saves money, is easy to access, available in a wide range of topics, and can be easily verified.
What is Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)?
We all use open-source intelligence every day. Open-source intelligence is any publicly available information that you can access. It is shared and used to answer a specific question.
You can find Open-source intelligence in news media, libraries, social media platforms, public records, websites, and the Dark web.
