Archives and Special Collections

The University Archives supports Norwich University’s educational and administrative goals by preserving, contextualizing and providing access to the essential documentary evidence of the culture, community, and history of the university.

The University Archives collections include:

  • Official records of offices, departments and committees documenting the development and growth of Norwich University
    Letters, diaries, photographs, manuscripts, and scrapbooks telling the personal stories of Norwich alumni before and after graduation.
  • Norwich publications, including yearbooks and student and alumni newspapers.
  • Student papers and theses deposited in the archives and retained as permanent record
  • As Special Collections, we also house the Kreitzberg Library's collection of rare books, primarily relating to military history.
