About

Dr. Linda Davidson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a BS in Psychology and MPS-Humanistic Education from SUNY New Paltz, MSN-Family Primary Care from PACE University, Post-Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Vermont, and a DNP from the University of New Hampshire.

Her academic experience includes curriculum development and online teaching at Norwich University and teaching in the University of Vermont graduate nursing program. As the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at a Federally Qualified Health Center she developed innovative programs including a medication assisted treatment program, perinatal mood disorder program, school based behavioral health program, pediatric psychiatry program and a somatic therapy program.

Prior to her move to North Carolina, Dr. Davidson served as the Executive Director of the Vermont Board of Nursing. She was instrumental in reforming the nursing statutes bringing independent practice for Nurse Practitioners to the state. Her passions include teaching our future nurse practitioners, program development, health care policy and nursing regulation.
