The historic Barre Municipal Auditorium has long been a community hub in the city of Barre. Designed by Ruth Freeman, the first female architect in the state of Vermont, it opened its doors in 1939. It has played a variety of roles since then, hosting trade and farm shows, town fairs, concerts, municipal voting polls and state basketball championships. Lately, though, it has been somewhat of a second classroom for Norwich architecture, engineering, and construction management students.

The Second Annual Northfield Community Clean Up took place this past weekend. Norwich’s AFROTC Cadets, in partnership with the American Legion Post 1819 and NU AFROTC Det 867, cleaned in and around the Northfield Town Center.
Norwich University was represented by a special delegation at the 3rd Annual International Forum for Peace, Security & Prosperity in Sicily, Italy. The delegation consisted of three members of Norwich’s Corps of Cadets and Dr. Travis Morris, Associate Professor, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
