Please join the Washington D.C. committee of Women Kicking Glass for a special gathering to celebrate Norwich’s trailblazing alumnae and the 50th anniversary of women entering the NU Corps of Cadets.
Join the Washington D.C. committee of Women Kicking Glass for a special gathering to celebrate Norwich’s trailblazing alumnae and the 50th anniversary of women entering the NU Corps of Cadets. This elegant social gathering will feature mimosas and light fare. It will take place at the Military Women’s Memorial, a museum dedicated to America’s Servicewomen.
Date: Sunday, June 23, 2024
Time: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: Military Women’s Memorial, Memorial Avenue & Schley Drive, Arlington, VA 22203 (Arlington National Cemetery)
Cost: $65 per person
$55.00 young alumni discount (graduates from 2014-2024)
Attire: Business casual
Parking is available in the Arlington National Cemetery garage for $3 per hour/$12 per day. Guests using the parking garage will have to go through security screening to enter the museum.
Public Transportation: The Military Women’s Memorial is accessible via Metrorail Blue Line. There is no access via Metrobus. Plan your trip and learn more about traveling via Metro here.
Help us fill the Wine Wall at the Women Kicking Glass Gala at Homecoming!
Bring a bottle of wine with a value of $25 or higher to donate to the Wine Wall fundraiser at the homecoming gala. Bottles will be wrapped and bagged for the event. Guests will purchase raffle tickets to make a random selection from the wine wall display. Proceeds will benefit the Women Kicking Glass Scholarship.
