Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

For over 200 years, students at Norwich University, the birthplace of ROTC, have served our nation and its armed forces with distinction. The Tri-Service Awards honor students for leadership in our four military branches — the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. They also honor academic and athletic achievements of cadets in our Corps of Cadets. In these pages, you’ll find honors for the service, resilience and displays of moral character that are trademarks of our students and our university.

“It is to the rising generation that we are to look for the future guardians and protectors of the inestimable rights and privileges transmitted to us by the heroes and patriots of the revolution: they are to be the future legislators, political economists, and defenders of our country; and on them is to depend, in a very great degree, the future destinies of our might republic.”Captain Alden Partridge, 1828
