Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

History

The perfect stepping stone in your career as a historian - Norwich's Master of Arts in History online program. In this program, hone your skills in conducting historical research, writing a thesis, and an area of study within American or World history.

Pursue your Masters of Arts in History

Norwich history students are encouraged to pursue off-campus and experiential activities and have studied on every continent except Antarctica. CityLAB:Berlin is an exciting opportunity which allows students to spend a semester in the heart of Europe and experience the history, politics, and culture of Germany first-hand. They also serve and learn as interns for agencies such as the Vermont State Historical Society, the Army War College, the Sullivan Museum and History Center and the Smithsonian Institute.

Whether it's continuing your journey as a military historian or building the skill sets to better communicate within the international arena, Norwich has advanced education options for you. Dating back two decades to the origins of Norwich's online graduate programs the Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Master of Arts in Military History curriculums are among the best in the country.
