Steeds we esteem
The Cavalry Troop, available to students of all equestrian levels, performs in a number of campus parades throughout the school year and traces back to the university’s origins of providing horseback-mounted soldiers for battle. Cavalry students get one-on-one training from Firefly Stables owner Laura Hamilton and has trained future professional law enforcement officers and a path to equestrian certification.
