Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

MATHEMATICS

PUSH YOURSELF TO THINK DIFFERENTLY.

Any student can benefit from a minor in mathematics. It is a discipline that crosses every discipline and career. Understanding mathematical concepts will serve you well, whether you are seeking a career in biology, engineering, management or numerous other fields.

As a math minor, you are invited to design you own program to blend courses with your academic majors, with the advice of the department. To minor in mathematics, students must complete six courses above basic math with at least three at the 300 and 400 level, all with a grade of “C” or better.
