COMMENCEMENT 2021: Notes from the Registrar's Office

Degree Audits

A student who is not on track to graduate has been notified by the Office of the Registrar in addition to the student’s advisor. A student who continues to not be on track will be removed from the graduation list and notified the weeks leading up to commencement. In most cases, the assumption will be that requirements will be completed during the summer semester. When a determination regarding completion during the summer cannot be made, the student will be removed as a graduation candidate. An audit that is not marked In-Progress in the header should contact their advisor right away as this means the student is ineligible to graduate.

Alternative Grades

Per the Memo sent from the Provost’s Office on March 4, Alternative Grades are available for Spring 2021.

The deadline to submit the alternative grade request is May 17, 2021. The exception to this deadline is graduating students on a commissioning track and students graduating with a degree in Nursing. To ensure the timely processing of the grades, these students must complete their request for the alternative grading option no later than NOON, EST on April 30, 2021.
