Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

Keeping our Norwich students and community informed and safe.

As we progress through our spring semester and pass the mid-term mark next week, I would like to update everyone on our decision-making timeline and considerations for the Class of 2021 Commencement and Commissioning ceremonies, scheduled for Saturday, May 1st and Sunday, May 2nd respectively. We do not yet have all of the details, but wanted to provide you with as much information as we could so you may plan accordingly.

He also updates the community on the return of athletics, the expansion of dining services, student life programming and student support services for all residential, commuter and remote students.

Initial Notification

On December 27, 2020 the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA) was signed into federal law. Norwich University received funding under this program for the express purpose of providing financial aid grants to students. Per Department of Education guidance, the funds must be prioritized for students with exceptional need. Students may use the grant for a component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to the coronavirus such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or childcare. If a student chooses, the grant may be used to satisfy his or her account’s outstanding balance.

Norwich University admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
