COVID-19 Surveillance Testing for Residential and Commuter Students
Mandatory COVID-19 Surveillance Testing for students begins Monday, Feb. 1 and continues through the semester. Students will be tested on a weekly basis.
Testing Center Hours of Operation: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday –Friday in Plumley Armory.
Residential Student Population Testing Schedule is based on dorm/barracks:
- Monday: Gerard, Dodge, Hawkins
- Tuesday: Wilson, Alumni
- Wednesday: Ransom and South
- Thursday: Dalrymple
- Friday: Crawford, Goodyear, Patterson
Commuter Students can be tested any day of the week.
NOTE: Tuesdays & Thursdays are lower density testing days. Please consider selecting one of those days. Important:
Students must be tested every seven days on the same day of the week.
For example: If a student is assigned/choose a Monday test day, they will go for their test every Monday throughout the semester. Is it strongly encouraged—BUT NOT REQUIRED—to schedule an appointment for your selected/assigned test day. To do so, visit:
Students must bring the following to the testing facility:
- A mask
- A phone or tablet showing your "cleared for campus" message from Daily Health Screening.
COVID-19 Surveillance Testing for Employees
The employee quarantine from campus has been extended through Monday, February 8. Employees may return to campus as scheduled by their supervisor starting Tuesday, February 9. Importantly, employees must be tested 2-7 days before their return to work on campus.
An employee who will work on campus Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, February 8-10, must be tested next week on Wednesday, February 3. All other employees may be tested starting Tuesday, February 9. An employee coming to campus just for testing during the quarantine period does not require supervisor approval to be on campus.
Employees will be tested weekly throughout the Spring semester and are asked to test on the same day of the week whenever possible. Tuesdays and Thursdays are lower density testing days, so please consider selecting one of those two days for your testing schedule. Employees who are working 100% remotely for the entire semester are not required to test. An employee who does not work on campus for an entire work week (Monday-Friday) is not required to test that week but may continue testing the following week. - Proof of completion of the Daily Health Survey on a mobile device or complete a paper certification prior to testing (copies will be available at the testing site.)
