Nearly 200 Years—Learn More About Norwich

Tuesday, October 9, 2018
6-8 p.m.
Mack Hall Auditorium, Norwich University

JOIN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE U.S. in a national conversation about China and the World featuring an interactive webcast with former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and on-site discussion with former U.S. Ambassador Stephen M. Young.

To help Americans better understand the complex U.S.-China relationship and the growing role of Chinese investment, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR) is conducting the 12th annual CHINA Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections at 100+ venues across the United States and Greater China. The event begins with a webcast featuring Dr. Condoleezza Rice from 6:00-6:45 p.m. EDT and will be followed by presentations from local speakers at each of the venues. At Norwich University, Ambassador Young will present from 6:50-7:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A.

China’s rapid development and Sino-American relations have a direct impact on the lives of nearly everyone in the United States. CHINA Town Hall is a national conversation about China that provides Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss issues in the relationship with leading experts.

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Parking is available in Lot F on Central Street off Route 12. Accessible parking is available in front of Mack Hall off I.D. White Avenue.

This is a cooperative offering of NCUSCR and the Norwich University Peace and War Center.
