NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Norwich University announced that Dr. Pelin Kohn, a leadership expert, has received a New Leaders Council (Vermont) Fellowship for 2022.
Kohn is the founding director of Norwich University’s soon-to-be announced leadership center and its leadership program coordinator.
Kohn is a passionate educator who has worked at all levels of education. She has worked as a leadership educator for 20 years and before moving to teach collegiately, Kohn worked as an executive coach. She designed and applied corporate workshops on leadership development. Kohn worked with global chief executive officers, middle management and novice managers to improve their leadership skills.

Kohn’s work at Norwich contributes to students' learning via an international faculty perspective. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and a master's degree in education from Bilkent University, Turkey, as a Fulbright scholar, and a doctorate in leadership (administration and planning) from Middle East Technical University, Turkey.
“I am proud to be accepted to the New Leaders Council (Vermont) 2022 cohort,” Kohn said. “As an NCL fellow, I will work with hundreds of Fellows across the nation to gain an exceptional leadership and community experience. The NCL Leadership experience is a significant platform from which to share my unique skills and expertise to solve problems collectively. I am happy to bring this experience to Norwich and share it with my colleagues and students to support Norwich’s mission of educating future leaders.
