Trade magazine puts President Dr. Mark Anarumo on cover of September issue
Norwich University President Dr. Mark Anarumo made the cover of September’s Risk & Insurance magazine and was named a Risk & Insurance All-Star.
In a statement, Risk & Insurance, a Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, trade magazine, said its editors choose the all-stars from among submitted nominees — risk and claims managers; workers’ compensation professionals; chief officers (executive, operating, financial), presidents and business owners. Winning all-stars, the magazine said, had compelling stories of surmounting challenges with creativity, perseverance and passion.
A story in the magazine describes Anarumo protecting students’ mental health, partly by living in dorms with them, and managing coronavirus infection rates. The story also details how at Anarumo’s behest, Norwich gave prorated room and board refunds to students who chose to leave campus.
