New Photo of the Day feature will offer up-close looks at life on Norwich University’s campus

Classes have started, the students are here and the electricity of activity — social, physical, intellectual — is coursing through campus for academic year 2020-21. To get your eye on what’s happening, we’re introducing a new feature, Photo of the Day.

Every weekday, we’ll post a photo from a collection our top-flight photographer, Mark Collier, has shot and assembled from the day before. The pictures will speak to campus life and student activity. We’ll go inside, outside, up the Hill, down the Hill, to class, to the lab, to the track and fields, to chow — every campus site where students gather.

Along with the photo, we’ll include a link to a larger collection you can scroll (or thumb) through at your leisure.

On Friday, we’ll post a gallery of that week’s photos, along with a written recap. We hope you’ll come along with us as we experience the day-to-day together. We may be masked and physically distanced, but our pursuit of academic excellence and vibrant campus life remains ever zealous.

Every picture tells a story, doesn’t it?
