International students armed with coffee for a winter’s day trek up Paine Mountain.

March 2018 - EN 199 Advanced Academic English—a course for international and multilingual students—invited their friends for a field trip up Paine Mountain in late March. They stopped by the Shaw Outdoor Center for snowshoes and explored the Norwich trails. This was the first time in snowshoes for many of these students, who hail from locations across the globe including Afghanistan, Nepal, Kenya, China, and California.
