The Office of Management and Budgets (OMB) released a memorandum March 19, 2020, that provides guidelines for Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations on federal and non-federal awards. Please review the memorandum to determine how this pertains to and/or effects your research progress.

If the response to the novel coronavirus has affected your research project, please contact the program officer or point of contact at the funding agency that manages your award. If you do not know where to start, contact Mina Peshavaria (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for assistance in finding a solution the complies with the funding agency's policies regarding continuation/completion of your funded research. This likely will involve contacting the funding agency/body.

As responses to the pandemic evolve, funding agencies have created statements and policies on flexibilities and relief for funding recipients. The Council on Governmental Relations has a link with resources for several of these agencies, including the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and NASA.
