NU Expeditions FAQ

Are you ready to develop a cross-cultural understanding of your major? Now, imagine doing so in a tropical paradise.

Offering a wide range of courses for many majors.

The School of Justice Studies & Sociology has developed a partnership with the University of the Virgin Islands, a historically black college on the Caribbean island of St. Croix. You are invited to join a cohort of your fellow Norwich students on a semester-long adventure in the Fall or Spring semester next year. Every student participating in this expedition will gain a new and invaluable cultural perspective that will allow you to set yourself apart from others in your field. Enrollment is open to any student eligible to study abroad through Norwich University. All lifestyles are encouraged to apply.

Not your average study abroad opportunity.

  • Courses Are Covered: Take classes approved by your major, including ROTC classes.
  • Earn MCV Diploma: Receive your Military College of Vermont diploma through leadership opportunities offered by the Corps.
  • Same Norwich Price with Scholarship and Financial Aid Support.

I’m interested, but will this Expedition fit into my major?

You’d be surprised how often the answer is “yes, it will.”

Whether you’re one-hundred-percent decided or nowhere near decided, we are here to help with that question and many others. Remember, a conversation only costs a little bit of time, and it could change your life. Contact Melanie Centeno at 1 (802) 485-2797 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
