HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Q: Who can attend FLC?
A: Students entering the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, and incoming rooks.

Q: What is the deadline to apply?
A: Deadline for Session 1 is June 18th, 2023 and the deadline for Session 2 is July 9th, 2023

Q: When is payment due?
A: A $300 dollar non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining $1700 dollars must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the start of camp. You can make multiple payments in that time

Q: Can I still come to camp if I have a medical condition?
A: Please call and ask. Each individual is reviewed on a case by case basis. Every participant must submit a health form signed by their physician before arriving at camp. Each participant is responsible for his or her medication while at camp.

Q: How many female participants attend camp?
A: Females make up approximately 25 percent of the camp participant and staff populations.

Q: Are there separate accommodations for the female participants?
A: Yes, female participants sleep on a separate floor and have a separate bathroom from the male participants.

Q: Can I use my cellphone during camp?
A: Cellphones are not allowed during training. Participants will be able to call home a few times during camp for 15 minutes.

Q: When can I expect my first phone call?
A: Participants will call home on the second or third night of camp.

Future Leader Camp

FLC has dialed fun, adventure, and life-skill learning into your summer plans. You will learn leadership techniques, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills while climbing the cliffs of Deer Leap Mountain and competing in the Olympic Challenge course. From classroom leadership instruction to your three-day wilderness survival skills overnight, this is a summer that will stand out like no other.
