Jessica Wood

Jessica Wood, DNP, WHNP-BC, RNC-OB is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and licensed registered nurse, and has been teaching at the Norwich University School of Nursing since 2008.  Although she has experience as a critical care nurse, a kidney transplant nurse, and emergency room nurse, the majority of her career has been dedicated to labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn care, and women's health.  As a passionate leader for nursing, Dr. Wood has expanded her expertise to include many leadership and nursing education roles in her 20+ years in nursing.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire, a Master of Science in Health Systems Leadership from Norwich University, a post-Master's certificate as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Duke University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University.

Jessica's most recent work was for a well-known non-profit organization providing care to women throughout northern New England.  Additionally, she has led nursing students to impoverished areas of Nicaragua and continues to practice as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in New England.  She is a native Vermonter and loves biking, skiing, hiking, and paddleboarding.

Paulette Thabault, DNP, APRN, JD, FAANP

As an adult nurse practitioner, she also practices at Goodhealth, an internal medicine practice within the Community Health Center of Burlington practices in South Burlington, Vt., where she cares for patients with a focus on the treatment of obesity and related chronic diseases. She has lectured in healthcare leadership and policy at the University of Vermont and Northeastern University and has consulted on patient-centered and clinical excellence practice innovations. These include establishing an Intensive Behavioral Treatment for Obesity program, developing a nurse practitioner residency program for retail health in collaboration with Northeastern University, consulting on Patient Centered Medical Home transformations, wellness initiatives and on-line nursing education innovations.

Llynne C. Kiernan, DNP, MSN, RN-BC, is a licensed registered nurse and has taught at Norwich University in the School of Nursing since 2004. She holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Vermont, a master of science in nursing leadership and health systems management from Drexel University, and a doctor of nursing practice from Chatham University.

Deborah Rosenbloom, PhD, AGACNP-BC, has expertise as a geriatric nurse has propelled her research in “the age friendly care movement” with a focus on mentation, promoting quality of life, and being guided by what matters to the older adults themselves. This model helps simplify complex care and contributes to the initiative to improve the care of older adults at the point of care and across settings of care.
