David Sem joined Norwich’s School of Criminolgy and Criminal Justice in 2017 as criminal justice internship coordinator and adjunct faculty. Before his arrival, David spent 25-plus years as a U.S. probation officer, supervising federal offenders and specializing in substance abuse and mental health treatment.

I am tremendously fortunate to spend my time assisting students with securing criminal justice internships and identifying other learning opportunities to better prepare them for a future career in the criminal justice system.”
Sem has a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Salem State University and an Master of Science in criminal justice administration and planning from Northeastern University.
