Faculty and Staff of Norwich University

Portrait of Bernard Maniscalo

Ben Maniscalco focuses on American perceptions regarding social mobility. His master’s degree is from Montclair State University, where he concentrated on cultural (urban) anthropology.

Before teaching at Norwich, he worked as an elementary school teacher and special educator in New Jersey and Vermont. When not in the classroom, he can be found fishing with his two sons or making fresh hot sauce with some locally sourced chili peppers.
