Kate Harney, ATC, completed a B.S. in athletic training from Stony Brook University, New York (2013), and an M.A. in physical education from Adelphi University, New York (2015).
Since moving to Vermont, she has worked as an athletic trainer at Stowe High School and Norwich University. She also taught 6-12th grade PE and health at Stowe Middle and High School. Harney teaches courses in the NU Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Health Science, and Physical Education programs. Trained in critical incident stress management through the National Athletic Training Association’s “ATs Care” program, she serves on the committee as the Vermont representative. She owns way too many tools of her trades and enjoys integrating them into her teaching practice.
