Susan Romans, PhD, graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in English and from the University of Maryland with graduate degrees in communication education.
Romans has taught English and communication courses for the past 12 years. Prior to that, she spent nearly three decades working to develop, deliver, and manage corporate education programs in leadership, project and change management, conflict resolution, and customer service. In the corporate environment, Romans adopted strategies that promote performance change, strategies that accomplish results in academic settings as well.
Teaching at Norwich University, Romans draws upon her experience as an Army brat. She understands the drill, square corners, dress of the day, command voice, and how to rise and shine.
