Lindsay Gacad teaches composition & literature and professional & technical writing in the NU Department of English and Communications. She is also a professional writing tutor at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, Vermont. In May 2019, she received her MFA in writing and publishing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her writing has appeared in 2 HoratioLevitate MagazineWanderlust Journal, and others.

Before moving to Montpelier for graduate school, Lindsay lived for thirteen years in Manhattan, where she worked as the associate director of sales development and marketing at Disney-ABC Television. Prior to that, she worked as a market research analyst for DIRECTV. She also served as a writing mentor for Girls Write Now, a nonprofit creative writing organization assisting at-risk girls from NYC public high schools. In addition to her MFA, Professor Gacad holds a B.S. in communications and a B.A. in psychology from Boston University. She loves cooking as well as reading and writing poetry and creative nonfiction.
