Stephen Fitzhugh, Ph.D., P.E., is a professor of electrical and computer engineering. He joined the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in 2002 after more than 25 years in the electric power industry. He currently serves as the director of NU’s David Crawford School of Engineering.
Edwin Schmeckpeper, Ph.D., P.E., is a licensed professional engineer and a professor of civil engineering and construction management.
Tara Kulkarni, PhD, PE, joined the Norwich family in 2011. She was recently appointed to serve as the director of the Center for Global Resilience and Security at Norwich University.
Michael W. Prairie, PhD, teaches electrical engineering courses and guides undergraduate student research in electrical system design. Prior to joining the faculty at Norwich, he spent 15 years serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force managing science and technology development programs, followed by 10 years in industry developing sensor systems.
