Renato (Ron) Merolli, J.D., is an instructor in both the School of Business and in the School of Architecture + Art.

After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Catholic University Law School, he served as a tax specialist at the IRS National Office in Washington, DC. He then went on to work for several insurance and consulting firms before spending over 20 years at the National Life Group in Montpelier, Vermont, as the director of advanced sales.

He joined the adjunct faculty at Norwich in 2014, bringing with him extensive experience in taxation, benefits, and business issues. He teaches courses in taxation, financial literacy, business law, and professional responsibility. He is a member of the Small Business Council of America, and he was the National Life representative on the pension committee of the American Council of Life Insurers. Three times he was appointed by U.S. Congress as a delegate to the National Summit on Retirement Savings.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard.
