David J. Blythe began teaching at Norwich as an adjunct instructor in 1991 and joined the full-time faculty as an associate professor in 2010. He has served as director of the School of Business (formerly the School of Business & Management) since July 2016.

Linn Caroleo is a Visiting Faculty member at the School of Business for 2022-23. Linn is also a Lecturer of Mathematics at Norwich University.

She earned her BA at the University of California, her MS at California State University; and an EdD from the University of West Florida.

Sethuram (Seth) Soman has been teaching and conducting joint research with undergraduate students for over a decade. His research interest is on the process and effects of environmental decision-making.

Jacki Strenio is an assistant professor of economics at Norwich University. Her research and teaching interests are in applied microeconomics and in particular, issues related to health, gender and public policy. She incorporates a plurality of frameworks in her teaching and research to explore economic issues, emphasizing their historical, political and social contexts.

Norwich University John Dellipriscoli

John Dellipriscoli joined Norwich University as an adjunct professor in August 2019. He teaches Business Applications & Problem Solving Techniques.

John has a M.S. in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Economics from Manhattan College. He has worked as an economist at the applied economics firm Economic & Policy Resources Inc. based in Williston, as well as the State of Vermont. He is currently the Director of Capital Soccer Club, a non-profit youth and adult soccer educational organization based in Montpelier.

John is inductee for 2022 into the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) Hall of Fame in the student-athlete category.

Portrait of Bruce Ranald Faulkner

Bruce Ranald Faulkner joined the Norwich faculty in 2011.

He holds an A.B. from Connecticut College in Mathematics and a MBA in Accounting from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He obtained a CPA while working at Ernst & Young. At both J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley in New York he worked on the US Treasury bond trading desk as a salesman covering International accounts.

Norwich University Cathlin Upton

Cathlin Upton began her accounting career as a staff accountant for a small community bank, worked as a payroll / AR manager for a restaurant group, a senior staff accountant for fitness/country club, a controller for a manufacturer, and a controller for a community bank. She is a licensed CPA with 18 years of experience in multiple industries including banking, manufacturing, and service.

Cathlin has a Bachelor’s in History, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Accountancy, and a Certificate in Applied Statistics from Purdue University

Her research interests include the 2008 Financial Crisis, Information Intermediaries, and CECL.
