Danny Sagan is an architect practicing in Vermont. At its core, architecture is about beauty and complexity of thought. In any city on the planet you can look for buildings that are proof of human aspiration.
Sagan is co-founder with Alisa Dworsky of Terra Firma, Inc., a design/build firm specializing in the design and construction of super energy-efficient, renewably-resourced, climatically derived homes. Sagan teaches Active Building Systems 1 (which focuses on HVAC), Design Studio, and Design/Build. Sagan has also been researching the beginnings of the Design/Build movement in Vermont. This research was used to curate a show at the Fleming Museum in 2008 and Sagan has written the catalogue essay for this show which was published under the title, Architectural Improvisations .
