The Norwich University Architecture + Art Summer Design Academy combines design creativity, historical perspective, technical excellence, social responsibility, and environmental leadership—with plenty of time for bringing your ideas to life in an exciting, hands-on learning experience. The weeklong summer program in picturesque Northfield, Vermont, offers a curriculum with a variety of studio, seminar, and field experiences, extracurricular activities, and field trips. Cultivate a broader view of the field, develop skills and portfolio materials, and gain important insights on the college application and portfolio-building processes.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Summer Design Academy is open to students who will be high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the fall of 2020.
WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
July 12-18, 2020 (Sunday through Saturday)
IS IT AFFORDABLE?
The cost per student for this weeklong program is $550 and includes tuition, room and board, studio supplies, and transportation for field trips.
WHAT ARE THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS?
Two (2) letters of recommendation
A one-page essay detailing why you would like to attend the program
A sketch, by you, of a real-life building
