Expect Challenge. Achieve Distinction.

COMMENCEMENT 2021: There will be four separate commencement ceremonies, two each running simultaneously in Shapiro Fieldhouse and Kreitzberg Arena at 9 a.m. and noon Saturday, May 1.

U.S. Army Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will give the commencement address.

ROTC JOINT COMMISSIONING CEREMONY 2021 will be held at 3 p.m. outdoors at Sabine Field at Haynes Family Stadium.

Maj. Gen. Gary Keefe ’86, U.S. Air Force Reserve and Massachusetts National Guard adjutant general, will deliver the Commissioning keynote.

We are less than two weeks away from Norwich University’s May 1st in-person 2021 Commencement and Joint Commissioning ceremonies. These ceremonies will be held simultaneously at each time slot in Shapiro Fieldhouse and Kreitzberg Arena in keeping with the physical distancing guidance and COVID-19 protocols stipulated in the Vermont Forward Plan for indoor events to ensure the health and safety of the Norwich community and our guests.

We are excited that we are able to bring our graduating seniors together for in-person Commencement ceremonies, incorporating as many traditions as we can, within current health and safety protocols and Vermont guidelines.

On these pages please find specific details and options respective to our 2021 Commencement and Joint Commissioning ceremonies.
