Cadet Cash Card is a debit account that that works with your Norwich University ID card (Cadet$Card). With a Cadet Cash account, Norwich University students, faculty and staff can use their card on and off campus to spend money deposited in their account. Unlike a credit card, Cadet Cash is prepaid; you put money in and then spend it using the card.

The Cadet$Cash Advantage +
The student’s Cadet$Cash is right on their university ID card, along with their meals, so there are no extra cards to carry. If the card is lost or stolen, report to the Cadet$Card Office or Public Safety and the card will be disabled immediately. Because students use their ID to enter the Dining Room, a missing card will be noticed quickly.
A Cadet$Cash account also provides budgeting predictability: Parents can develop a budget, and then set up a deposit schedule to meet your student’s estimated expenses. Best of all, parents can get money to their child's account quickly and easily.
Cadet$Cash is faster and easier than paying by check or credit card because your ID and means of payment are all in one card. Cadet$Cash Cards are even faster than paying with cash — there are no bills or coins to count.
Deposits to accounts are accepted online and at the Cadet$Card Office in the Wise Campus Center, Room 228.
Is there a fee?
The Cadet$Cash account is free to open and operate. There is a $10.00 closing fee when a student closes their account.

Open an account
To open an account with your Cadet Cash Card, visit the WebCard Center Registration form below:
Fill in the fields to register and press "Submit". Once completed, you will receive an email to verify your registration. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your web account.
A $20.00 minimum deposit is required, and $3 convenience fee is charged for online deposits.

To check your Cadet Cash Card balance, visit the WebCard Center log-in page and enter your email address and password to enter your account.

Depositing Funds To an Existing Account
To deposit funds onto an existing account as a current student, faculty, or staff log into the Banner system:
Enter the required credentials and press the "Go to Cadet$Cash Deposit Page". Follow the instructions once logged in.
Students: Use your last name, birth date and nine-digit student ID number, which begins with A.
Faculty/staff: Use your last name, birth date and employee ID number beginning with A. Note that online deposits are available for Cadet$Cash only. Online deposits do not apply to the NU Faculty/Staff Dining Plan. NU Faculty/Staff Dining funds may be added only by visiting the Cadet$Card Office.
Do not use a social security number, as the funds will not be accessible from your account.

There is a $1,000.00 deposit maximum per day.
Web deposits made by 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday are available the next business day. For deposits made after 5:00 p.m., or on Friday through Sunday, please allow two business days for availability.
