COVID-19 Guidance for Fall 2022 new and returning student arrivals:

COVID-19 VACCINATION MANDATE

All Norwich University students are mandated to be fully vaccinated. Full vaccination includes a booster dose. New students should be fully vaccinated prior to arrival on campus. New students can submit exemption requests using the form in their application portal.

COVID-19 CAMPUS PROTOCOLS

New and returning students who are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 prior to arrival should contact their primary care provider for guidance before coming to campus.

Once on campus, symptomatic students should contact NU Health Services (802) 485-2552.

Consistent with current CDC, public health, and medical guidance, students who test positive for COVID-19 will be assigned to quarantine for recovery management. Norwich University Health Services will provide guidance and support.

Students are not required to quarantine as close contacts regardless of vaccination status.

COVID-19 TESTING

We do not anticipate testing on the Norwich campus during the Fall 2022 semester. NU Health Services will provide testing as needed to support symptomatic students on an individual, clinical, patient care basis as a test-to-treat/test-to-cure strategy. NU Health Services will provide guidance and support for students who test positive for COVID-19.

MASKING

We anticipate that masking will remain optional on the Norwich campus for the Fall 2022 semester. Masking may be mandatory in some campus locations, including classrooms and offices. New and returning students should bring a mask(s) to campus and should plan to always have a mask with them while on campus.
