How is the Norwich’s cadet experience different from those at other Senior Military Colleges'?

The Corps of Cadets and its military lifestyle are signature features of the Norwich University experience. In this video, cadets Isabella, a sophomore, and Britton, a senior, describe choosing Norwich and participating in the Corps.

Britton, a Texan who’ll commission into the U.S. Air Force after graduation, said he wanted to go far from home for college and experience the military lifestyle.

What's it like to be a civilian student at a Senior Military College?

Although Norwich is famous for its Corps of Cadets and military lifestyle, civilian students thrive here, too. In this video, two students talk academics and campus life.

Aleia Manning, a senior criminal justice major, and Patrick Boucher, a sophomore mechanical engineering major, said they both enjoyed the blend of military and nonmilitary lifestyles. Both said Norwich offers plenty of interesting clubs and activities. Manning is in student government and the Model United Nations. Boucher balances resident adviser duties and captaining n esports team.

After college comes career. In this video, Norwich University Career and Internship Associate Director Meghan Oliver discusses services to help students gain experience and position themselves for the job market ahead.

What’s it like to take the field, the pool or the ice as a Norwich student-athlete?

In this video, soccer player Courtney Amell, football player Francisco Colon, women’s hockey player Blossom Truell and men’s swimmer Cameron Ferreira discuss what brought them to Norwich. All said they seized the chance to play the sports they loved, build friendships and study toward their chosen careers.

Our Center for Civic Engagement thinks locally and globally, coordinating 10 service-oriented student groups to put volunteers in communities that need them.

In this video, Center for Civic Engagement Director Nicole DiDomenico, Assistant Director Abigail Joyal (a 2018 Norwich alumna) and soon-to-graduate senior Brandon Milburn discuss the center and volunteerism.

Our campus may be remote and rural, but our activity is electric, eclectic and constant. Campus buzzes with activity as students participate in more than 80 clubs and organizations.
