Norwich University offers two residential master’s degree programs. For more information, click on the links below.

Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)

Norwich offers a one year program for students who have a previous Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture, and a longer program for students with a baccalaureate degree in any non-architecture field. Both programs require that previously earned degrees were granted by an accredited institution.

How to Apply

  • Apply Here (new browser window will open)
  • Select the Degree Category “Masters Candidate”
  • Select the Academic Major “Masters of Architecture” with the correct option: MArch I (for students who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture” or MArch III (for all others)
  • Select the appropriate Entry Term (i.e. "Fall 2021")
  • Submit any letters of recommendation and transcripts with your application.
  • Additional application requirements (i.e. portfolios, etc) will be submitted through the student portal after you submit the initial application. You will receive a link and password to the portal after you submit your application. Detailed information on these requirements is posted on the portal. Application requirements include:

    • Research & Writing Samples
    • College Transcripts
    • Other materials (Optional)

Master of Athletic Training (M.AT.)

Norwich offers an accelerated Master’s in Athletic Training degree program for students in the Norwich Health Science major (students can earn a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s in Athletic Training in five total years), and a two-year Master’s in Athletic Training for students who have already earned their bachelor’s degree in another field from an accredited institution.

How to Apply

  • Select the Degree Category “Masters Candidate”
  • Select the Academic Major “Masters Athletic Training”
  • Select the appropriate Entry Term
  • Submit any letters of recommendation (required for the MAT program) and transcripts with your application.
  • If applying for the MAT, complete the NU ATP Technical Standards on the application.
  • Additional application requirements (i.e. certification of observation hours, etc) will be submitted through the student portal after you submit the initial application. You will receive a link and password to the portal after you submit your application.

Deadlines:

  • Rolling Admissions, with a priority deadline of Feb 1
  • Internal candidates for the Master’s of Athletic Training program already enrolled at Norwich must submit all materials no later than 1 March.
  • Deposit Deadline for Fall Enrollment: May 1
  • Deposit Deadline for Spring Enrollment: Dec 1
