The NU Experience
An overnight visit opportunity for high school seniors.
What is the difference?
We are often asked what the difference is between an Open House event and The NU Experience. The main difference is that The NU Experience takes place during the week (Wednesday/Thursday), while an Open House takes place on a weekend (Friday/Saturday). Both offer overnight opportunities, The NU Experience provides an additional opportunity to spend the night on campus and experience Norwich while campus is active and classes are in session. Families are welcome to participate in the NU Experience events on Thursday, which includes a complimentary breakfast. The overnight portion is offered to students only.
The NU Experience is available to high school seniors only. All events are provided in order to offer multiple opportunities for your family to visit campus on a date that is most convenient for your schedule.
What else does The NU Experience event offer?
The NU Experience events are a great way to get a feel for what it’s really like to be a student at Norwich. Stay in a dorm overnight and then spend a day learning more about Norwich. For The NU Experience students will spend the night, meet with faculty, tour the campus, have an in-depth information session with admissions, and meet with some of our cadet and civilian staff who will help you understand all the opportunities that await at Norwich.
