Future Leader Camp

The Future Leader Camp (FLC) is a two-week summer program that develops leadership potential in high school students. FLC is a challenging, meaningful adventure camp that builds understanding of small-group leadership techniques, leadership ethics, teamwork, problem solving and communication. Check out our FLC Video to see what we’re all about!

FLC is not a boot camp for students with disciplinary problems. Qualified applicants should hold a minimum 2.5 GPA. While not required, involvement in leadership-driven organizations such as Junior ROTC, Civil Air Patrol, Sea Cadets, student government, athletics, scouting and school, church, community or volunteer organizations is a big plus.

Participants will encounter challenge, excitement and fun. Activities include rappelling, paintball, first-aid, classroom instruction, sports and a challenge course. Teams are led by current Norwich University students and professional leaders to ensure expert instruction and a life-changing experience.

Mission Statement: To enable dedicated youths to become decisive, caring and disciplined leaders in a challenging environment and to instill confidence and courage through hands-on adventure, survival and physical training, while fostering in each the moral integrity and flawless character required of responsible citizens and future leaders.
