Ways to Make a Reunion Gift
- Make a gift of cash.
- This is the easiest way for many people to contribute. You can send a check or credit card information directly to the Development and Alumni Relations Office at Norwich University, Attn: class of 19xx or 20xx/xxth. You can also make a gift online now or over the phone, using your credit card, at 802.485.2300.
If Norwich made a difference in your life, now is the time to give back by making a gift or pledge to the University in honor of your reunion!
- Make a gift using securities and other appreciated assets.
- Donating securities or other appreciated assets remains a tax-wise and convenient method of giving to Norwich. Please contact us before transferring stock so your gift can be properly credited.
- Make a multi-year pledge in honor of your reunion.
- You choose a gift amount—say $500, $2,500, $5,000, or $50,000—and make an annual gift payment for up to five years. The entire amount you pledge during the reunion gift time frame will be counted towards your class total. If you are interested in restructuring an existing pledge or starting a new pledge in honor of your reunion, please contact the Development and Alumni Relations Office.
- Take advantage of your company’s matching gift program.
- Corporate matching gift programs provide an opportunity for donors to double, and in some cases more than double, a gift to Norwich University. Simply obtain your company’s matching gift form from the personnel office and send it to Norwich. If you have questions about how to submit a matching gift request, or would like to know if your company offers a matching gift program, call Norwich.
- Join the Partridge Society.
- Gifts of $1,000 or more per year are recognized with annual membership in the Partridge Society. Donors who have contributed $20,000 or more become Lifetime Members. Planned or deferred gifts are recognized with membership in the Society’s 1819 Circle.
- Consider a planned gift; most planned gifts count in the reunion gift total!
- Annuities and other life income plans, bequests, insurance, or a combination of these are the principal methods of planning a special gift to Norwich. Please contact the Development and Alumni Relations Office at Norwich for more information on establishing a planned gift.
