Gifts of Tangible Personal Property

Gifts of tangible personal property, including works of art, scientific equipment, rare books and similar items can offer a donor current tax benefits if the gift is related to the exempt purposes of Norwich University. All gifts of tangible personal property must go through an approval process before the gift is finalized.

If you hold an asset that has appreciated in value, it can be an excellent vehicle for making a gift because you get a two-fold tax benefit.
