Why are you interested in working at Company X? What drew you to apply? What do you bring to the table?
Cover letters are often read by the hiring manager and they are the decision-makers, so you want to make sure your cover letter is written well in brief, high-impact language, and is tailored specifically to the company. Generic cover letters don’t cut it. Rather than writing your entire life history, instead focus on a couple of your most relevant accomplishments. The goal is to get the interview.
