Effective April 7, 2015, a new “Transcripts Request/Enrollment Certificate” link has been added to the list on the “student” tab in BannerWeb. Clicking this link with take the student directly to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) site. At the NSC site students can request and pay for their official transcript to be sent to a third party electronically.
A transcript is an official complete, legal, permanent academic record. Norwich does not reissue or certify copies of transcripts from other institutions, including those posessed as part of a student’s record. Transcripts must be ordered directly from the institution where the course work was taken.
An official Norwich University transcript is a complete academic record of all course work enrolled in after the sixth day of each term. Official transcripts include the signature of the University Registrar, the date of issue and the seal of the University.
Transcript requests will be not be granted for individuals who still have an outstanding debt to Norwich.
Transcripts can be ordered via the Internet through the National Student Clearinghouse by using the links provided below. Students may order as many as they wish in one session using any major credit card. Credit cards will only be charged after the order has been processed. Status updates of the transcript request order are emailed to you as the order moves through the process. Transcript orders can be tracked online using via an email address and order number. There is a processing fee of $2.25 for this service in addition to the transcript fee charges.
The signed consent is required to process a transcript request. For convenience, a consent form is generated that can be returned via fax, mail or as a scanned email attachment.

Order directly from Norwich University by completing the transcript request form and mailing or faxing it to the address listed below. Please note there are no order status updates with this option; and therefore no additional processing fee.

Telephone or email requests for transcripts require a signature to release academic information (due to Federal regulations).
Transcript requests will normally be processed within two to three business days. However, a longer period of time may be required for processing at the end of each semester.
Requests for same day processing (priority and express or overnight by UPS) must be recieved no later then 12 noon in order to be mailed the same day. If recieved after that time, they will be mailed the following day.
When making a request, please provide the following information:
- Full name
- Full name while a student, if different from above
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Date of last attendance
- Exact mailing address (including ZIP code) where transcript is to be sent
- Daytime phone number where we can reach you, should we have a question
- Transcript (per copy): $10.00
- Sent out by fax: $12.00 (note that faxed transcripts are never consider official)
- Priority Mail (processed same day and sent US Priority mail): $15.00
- Express within the US (processed same day and sent US Express Mail): $35.00
- Express International (processed same day and sent US Express Mail): $60.00
Checks must be made payable to Norwich University. MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards may be used by including the card type, account number and expiration date.
